- Dr Shakti Bhan Khanna has been serving as Obstetrician &Gynaecologist for almost 40 years now.
- She completed her medical education from recognized universities of Jammu & Kashmir, AIIMS (Delhi) and Bombay.
- Experience in multiple fields of gynaecology such as Gynae-oncology, infertility, Gynae endocrinology, pelvic reconstruction surgery and pelvic reconstructive surgery
- She has also evolved the surgical technique for vault prolapse using Khanna's Sling Operation technique that has delivered successful results.
- She also worked at GMC (Gandhi Medical College) as an assistant professor.
- She started her professional career in Srinagar where she worked as an OBGYN professor in a Government Medical College for 30 years and later joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in December 1995 taking over the responsibilities of a senior consultant.
