• With an experience of 21 years in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Mahadev Pothuraju is a Senior Consultant for Radiation Oncology at Apollo Speciality Cancer Hospital, Chennai since 2004.
• Dr. Mahadev was instrumental in starting the Diplomate of National Board course in Radiotherapy in 2005. After getting trained in Australia, Dr. Mahadev started Prostate brachytherapy at Apollo Speciality Cancer Hospital.
• He is also trained in Cyberknife radiosurgery, the world’s first and only robotic radiosurgery system designed to treat tumours anywhere in the body with sub-millimeter accuracy.
• With 21 years of experience as a Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Mahadev offers his skills and knowledge for treatment of head and neck cancers, uro gynecological Cancers etc. His concentration is mainly focused on Radiotherapy, radiation oncology, radio surgery and more. He is also trained in Cyberknife radiosurgery which is the only system in the world to treat tumors in the body with sub-millimeter accuracy.
• Dr. Mahaved got training in radiotherapy from Australia, from where he started his journey as a Radiation Oncologist to achieve successful history in cancer treatment.
