• Fellow, Heart and Lung transplant and left ventricular assists devices at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon tyne ,England.
• Fellow, robotic surgery, minimal access cardiac surgery and aortic surgery, Liverpool heart and chest hospital, Liverpool , England.
• He visited Maastricht, Netherlands to gain more knowledge in thoracoscopy assisted mitral valve repair surgery.
• He has acquired necessary skills in the aortic valve repair at Homburg, Germany.
• He visited Leipzig, Germany, to acquire depths in minimal access cardiac surgey.
• He is an expert in complex coronary artery bypass surgery and aortic surgery.
• His expertise also includes repair  of aortic, mitral and tricuspid valves.
• He is an expert in heart and lung transplants and mechanical ventricular devices.
   

Achievements

• Awarded the prestigious Gold medal by the Maharashtra University of Health sciences for excelling in cardiothoracic surgery  .
• He is UK registered surgeon for retrieval of DCD (donor after circulatory death) and DBD (Donor after brain Death) retrieval.
• He is amongst few of the UK surgeons to have successfully performed DCD heart retrieval and successfully retrieval of Lungs in DCD-NRP settings
