- The Gutenberg Centre Reproduction Unit (URE) was established in Malaga in 1987. With a team of more than twenty professionals, in 1989 we were able to successfully assist in the very first pregnancy with In Vitro Fertilization in the Malaga province, resulting in a baby girl. This places us as one of Spain’s top centres in regards to innovation and expertise. According to data from the Spanish Fertility Society, The Gutenberg Centre Reproduction Unit is currently the leading specialty fertility clinic for having performed the highest number of assisted reproduction treatments in the province of Malaga.
- We bring 30 years of experience to Reproductive Medicine. We perform from the easiest of assisted reproductive technologies, such as Artificial Insemination, to the most sophisticated, such as In Vitro Fertilization, Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis and Egg Donation. - Our facilities boast more than six hundred modern and well-kept square metres, all intended for fertility services. For your comfort, every step of your treatment will be carried out here: from the beginning with your first consultation, until the completion of your treatment.
- We offer a completely equipped Andrology Lab where we carry out all of the necessary semen testing in order to guarantee the best diagnosis. Without needing to travel anywhere else, we also offer you a modern and well-equipped Operating Room where we carry out procedures on a daily basis, such as: follicular aspirations, embryo transfers and other interventions necessary for your treatment.
- We also have an In Vitro Fertilization Lab featuring the EmbryoScope incubator, six conventional incubators, two microinjectors, and numerous semen, egg and embryo banks. Our four recovery rooms (two double and two individual rooms) are spacious, comfortable and have en suite bathrooms. Moreover, our centre includes six offices for patient care, a large reception area and three waiting rooms.
