- After gaining surgical experience for five years (General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology in PGIMER Chandigarh), three years exclusively in Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and 1 year Liver Transplant fellowship in Medanta The Medicity.
- Dr. Thaigarajan is working as a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant surgeon in Medanta’s Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine since 2013.
- As a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Liver transplant surgeon he has performed more than 220 recipient hepatectomies and 190 live donor hepatectomies independently and 15 cadeveric liver retrievals.
- He has also performed implantation in LDLT and DDLT.
- Dr. Thaigarajan is proficient in all types of gastrointestinal surgeries.
